Sugar rises on higher demand

Sugar prices rose at the Vashi Wholesale market here today on good demand from stockists and bulk traders. 

Small sugar quality (S-30) spurted by Rs 15/21 per quintal to Rs 2,891/2,946 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 2,870/2,931.

Medium sugar quality (M-30) also went up by Rs 10/16 per quintal to Rs 2,931/3,021 as against Rs 2,915/3,011 previously.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,891/2,946 (Rs 2,870/ 2,931) and medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,931/3,021 (Rs 2,915/3,011)
