Sugar trades in tight range

In thin trading, sugar prices after moving in a tight range in the absence of worthwhile, activity, closed around previous closing in the national capital today.

Sufficient stocks position in the market also helped sugar prices to remain flat.

Marketmen said ample stocks of the sweetener kept sugar prices steady despite good demand.
