Sugar up on mild retail offtake

Sugar prices moved up slightly at the Vashi Wholesale market here today owing to stray retail buying.  

Medium sugar quality (M-30) edged up by Rs 5 per quintal to Rs 2,876/2,931 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 2,871/ 2,931 per quintal.

Small sugar quality (S-30) also looked up to Rs 2,821/ 2,872 per quintal as compared to Rs 2,821/2,871 yesterday.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,821/2,872 (Rs 2,821/ 2,871) and medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,876/2,931 (Rs 2,871/2,931)
