Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Idea Cellular, Axis Bank, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Aban Offshore and Rallies India are among 105 stocks that hit their respective 52-week lows on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the S&P BSE Sensex slipped more than 600 points in intra-day trade today.
Apollo Tyres, Bata India, Den Networks, Oil India, Steel Authority of India (SAIL), Oil India and Havells India are among notable companies from the BSE500 index hit 52-week lows.
The S&P BSE Sensex was down 608 points or 2.3% to 25,657 in early morning trade as the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) suffered a setback in the Bihar assembly elections.
Most of the stocks hit 52-week lows after reported a weak set of numbers for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 (Q2).
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has dipped 7% to Rs 746, also its 52-week low on the BSE. The drug maker reported a 46% year on year (YoY) dip in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,107 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 (Q2) due to lower sales growth, volatile currency movements and supply constraints. Consolidated net sales of the company declined 15% to Rs 6,803 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 7,979 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

Analysts on an average had expected profit of Rs 1,233 crore and net sales of Rs 6,968 crore for the quarter.
Excel Industries too slipped to its 52-week low at Rs 215, down 19% on the BSE after the company posted a sharp 63% YoY declined in net profit at Rs 3.94 crore in Q2, due to lower sales.
Idea Cellular, Aban Offshore, IDFC, SAIL and Vijaya Bank are down 1%-4% on the BSE.
At 11:26 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 289 points at 25,976, recovering 319 points from its early morning low.
