Taneja Aerospace and Aviation has locked in upper circuit of 20% at Rs 60.35 on BSE after the company said it has signed a contract with Indian Air Force, Nasik for upgradation of their MIG 29 aircrafts.
"We confirm that the Company has signed a contract with Indian Air Force, Nasik on 26th November, 2014 for upgradation of their MIG 29 aircrafts. The contract is for a value of Rs 12.79 crore and is to be executed over a period of three years effective December 01, 2014,” Taneja Aerospace and Aviation said in a statement.
The company has given on clarification on the media report and news item captioned "Taneja Aerospace signs contract to upgrade MIG 29s’.
The stock opened at Rs 54 and hit a low of Rs 51.70 on BSE. At 1447 hours, around 228,000 shares changed hands and there are pending buy orders for 92,709 shares on BSE.
