Indian ADRs had a good run on Friday as all, but one ADR, closed in the green.
Tata Motors was the day's highest gainer, as it surged 9% at $26.40, its best ever performance recently.
ICICI Bank notched up nearly 6% to close at $45.34. Tata Communications also gained above 5% to end the day at $9.34.
MTNL moved up 4.3% at $1.96, while HDFC Bank, at $148.18, closed up 4%.
Satyam Computer Services ended the day up 3% at $2.64, followed by Sterlite Industries up 2.5% at $14.22 and Wipro at $12.70 up 1.3%.
Genpact gained 1% at $14.54, Dr Reddy's Laboratories moved up 0.7% at $33.15, while Patni Computer Systems, the lowest gainer for the day, closed up marginally at $20.10.
Infosys was the only ADR to end negatively at $67.12 down 0.3%.
