Shares of Tata Power increased by 7.12 per cent to close the day at Rs 740.20, after the company announced that it had received an amount of Rs 316.72 crore for a sale of its partial holdings in Tata Teleservices (TTSL).
The stock made an intraday high of Rs 749.85 and a low of Rs 684 with trading volumes of 1.8 lakh shares. The scrip made a 52-week high of Rs 1,510 (May 21, 2008) and a low of Rs 531.5 (October 27, 2008).
