Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) has soared 18% at Rs 106 on reports that jewellery retailer is planning to open 57 new show rooms in 11 states with the investment of over Rs 1,000 crore.
Meanwhile, the company opens its new showroom on August 16, 2012, Vadodara, Gujarat, TBZ said in a filing.
TBZ currently has 15 show rooms in 10 cities across five states, will open eight more show rooms in the state of Gujarat with total investment of Rs 250 crore, added report.
The stock opened at Rs 92 and hit a high of Rs 107 on the NSE. A combined 1.3 million shares have already changed hands on the counter so far, against an average sub 200,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on the NSE and BSE.
