Tea Exports Down By 11% In Jan-Oct

Tea exports during the first 10 months (January-October) of 2001 declined by 10.92 per cent to 150.41 million kg from 168.84 million kg during the same period last year, according to the Tea Board estimates.

Tea exports during October was down by 17.44 per cent to 17.18 million kg from 20.81 million kg during the corresponding month last year, Tea Board said.
