Tech stocks lead US mkt rally

US markets rallied for the second consecutive session yesterday, with stocks led by tech majors lifting the sentiment. While the Dow Jones spurted 75 points to 10,749, the Nasdaq moved up 20 points to close at 2,052.

Indian ADRs displayed a mixed trend on the US bourses. While Infosys and Satyam clocked a per cent gain each to $73.70 and $24.48 respectively, Wipro was down a per cent at $21.10.

HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and VSNL also ended in the green with steady gains at $44.43, $21.77 and $10, respectively. Dr. Reddy's, however, dropped 2.33% to $17.18. Tata Motors and MTNL, too, ended weak at $10.87 and $6.81, respectively.
