The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensex snapped its winning streak on Tuesday, following profit-booking in select stocks after recent gains.
After trading in a range of around 70 points, the sensex settled 40.22 points lower at 3,230.14, off the intra-day high of 3292.87 points.
