Consumer goods major Marico has plans is to emerge as an Indian multinational with a young workforce and an annual turnover of Rs 10,000 crore in the next four years. Marico's consolidated financial year 2015-16 (FY16) revenues were Rs 6,122.3 crore. It crossed Rs 5,000 crore in consolidated revenues in FY15.

Buoyed by sale of over 1 lakh vehicles equipped with auto gear shift, Maruti Suzuki India plans to offer this technologies in more models sold in the domestic market.

IT stocks including TCS and Infosys are likely to hog limelight after US-based Cognizant Technology Solutions displayed a poor show in the March quarter and the company's revising downwards its revenue growth projections for FY16 show the demand environment in the information technology (IT) services sector continues to be patchy. Tata Group firm Titan Company reported 14.4% decline in net profit to Rs 184.11 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015-16, mainly due to lower sales. 

Kolkata-based Birla Corporation on Friday posted a whopping increase of 314% in its net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 with a revenue growth of over eight per cent.

Engineering firm Siemens on Friday reported a 9.6% rise in second-quarter net profit, helped by higher revenue from different business segments, beating analyst expectations.

JK Paper posted a 51% increase in net profit at Rs 27.3 crore for the quarter ended March, against Rs 18 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

Intravenous fluids and injectable drugs maker Claris Lifesciences on Friday posted a 65% decline in net profit in the fourth quarter on the back of declining sales in emerging markets and higher expenses.

Country's largest mortgage lender HDFC said it will raise Rs 1,360 crore by issuing debentures on a private placement basis.
