Apple Inc's market cap climbed to $623 billion on Monday, topping Microsoft’s record set during the tech boom in 1999. There are 54 companies with market caps of $100 billion or more. Last week, Goldman Sachs said Reliance Industries could double its market cap to $100 billion in the next four years if it delivered on a few eminently achievable objectives.
