Thomas Cook gains after being awarded 'India's Leading Tour Operator'

Honored as as "India's Leading Tour Operator" for the year 2014 at the 21st Annual World Travel Awards' 2014 at the Asia & Australasia Gala Ceemony 2015 in New Delhi.

Thomas  Cook (India) Ltd.  has gained around 2%  on BSE after being honoured as "India's Leading Tour Operator" for the year 2014 at the 21st Annual World Travel Awards' 2014 at the Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2015 in New Delhi.
 
Hailed as 'The Oscars of Travel Industry,' the World travel Awards is acknowledged internationally as the ultimate travel accolade.
 
“We are delighted to be bestowed with India’s Leading Tour Operator award at the reputed World Travel Awards 2014. This honour is testament to the spirit of innovation and unerring service quality displayed by our truly exceptional people across Thomas Cook India,” said Thomas Cook M.D Madhavan  Menon.
 
 
Also, the company's subsidiary, IKYA Human Capital Solutions Ltd has completed the acquisition of Canada-based  Brainhunter Systems Ltd which  is a leading IT and Engineering professional firm, employing about 700 professionals and with revenues of about USD 80 million.
 
The shares opened at Rs 151.60 and till 9.30 AM has hit a high of Rs 154.80 while around 9,000 shares have changed hands on BSE and NSE combined.
