Toshiba deal cushions Tata Power fall

Tata Power was down 0.48 per cent to Rs 686.15, off the session's low of Rs 666.70, on signing an equipment deal with Toshiba Corporation for a 4,000-mw ultra mega power project in Gujarat.

The company has signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Toshiba Corporation for procurement of five 800 mw steam turbine generators for its 4,000 mw Mundra project.
