Transporters Meet To Decide Freight Hike

Transporters and truck contractors will meet tomorrow to decide whether or not they will raise the freight rates in tune with the hike in the prices of diesel and petrol. However, this move will only benefit large transporters because the hike in freight would not be passed on to individual truckers, marketmen say.
