Turmeric futures prices weakened by Rs 68 to Rs 7,396 per quintal today on sluggish exports and local demand against adequate stocks position.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, turmeric for delivery in June month fell by Rs 68, or 0.91%, to Rs 7,396 per quintal, with an open interest of 8,165 lots.

July turmeric shed Rs 68, or 0.92%, to Rs 7,332 per quintal, with a business volume of 4,300 lots.
