Turmeric and jeera prices rose further by Rs 200 per quintal each in the national capital today largely influenced by increased buying by retailers and stockists against tight stocks.

Fall in supplies from producing belts also supported the upside in prices. Turmeric prices rose by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 15,900-18,900 per quintal.

Jeera common and jeera best quality also traded higher at Rs 13,100-13,400 and Rs 14,200-14,700 against previous closing of Rs 12,900-13,200 and Rs 14,000-14,500 per quintal respectively.
