Turmeric and jeera prices rose up to Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today on fresh buying by retailers and stockists following pick up in domestic and exports demand.
Fall in supplies from producing belts also supported the upside in prices. Turmeric prices rose by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 15,700-18,700 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also traded higher at Rs 12,900-13,200 and Rs 14,000-14,500 against previous closing of Rs 12,800-13,100 and Rs 13,900-14,400 per quintal respectively.
