TVS Motor, the third-largest two-wheeler maker in the country, has gained 3.3% at Rs 57 after having reported a 14% rise in total sales August, to 194,898 vehicles from 170,735 vehicles a year ago.
Total two-wheeler sales grew by 14% to 190,184 vehicles, while exports were up 48% to 29,984 vehicles in August, the company said in a statement.
The stock opened at Rs 56.5 on the BSE today. The counter has seen trades of over a million shares on the BSE and the NSE.
