Tyche Industries zooms on USFDA nod for Andhra Pradesh facility

The stock locked in upper circuit of 20% at Rs 49 on the BSE.

Tyche Industries is locked in upper circuit of 20% at Rs 49 on the BSE after the small-sized pharmaceuticals company received the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) approval for a plant in Andhra Pradesh.

“The company has just received approval from the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing facility located at Sarpavaram, Kakinanda, Andhra Pradesh,” Tyche Industries said in a statement.

Till 09:28 am, around 34,000 shares changed hands in the counter against an average sub 6,000 shares that were traded daily on the BSE. There were pending buy orders for 102,542 shares in the counter.
