United Western Bank hits roof on bonus issue news

United Western Bank attained its life-time closing high on Thursday as it went up by 13 per cent to Rs 60.95. The scrip has been witnessing a rising trend in the last one month.
 
The bank announced details about its bonus and rights issue. The stock which closed yesterday at Rs 53.95, hit an intra-day high of Rs 64.70 on Thursday.
 
The private sector commercial bank's service portfolio ranges from retail to merchant banking and has a network of 230 branches spread over 47 districts in 9 states.
