Unloading Halts Positive Sessions Streak

Selling pressure across bluechips and technology counters ended the three-session winning streak of the bourses on Thursday. The Bombay Stock Exchange sensex, after swinging in a 71-point band, wound up 52.28 points down at 3,359.64 points, close to its three-month low.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the S&P CNX Nifty shed 16.30 points to close at 1,094.30. The breadth was negative as losers outnumbered on modest volumes.
