<b>Upmove continues...</b> Sensex gains 266pts

The Sensex is now up 266 points at 18,779.

Tata Steel has zoomed 8% to Rs 990, and Hindalco has soared 4.7% to Rs 198.

Bharti Airtel has surged over 3% to Rs 1,017. Reliance Energy and ICICI Bank have rallied 2.7% each to Rs 1,699 and Rs 1,127, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and SBI have advanced over 2% each to Rs 3,477 and Rs 1,950, respectively. Reliance has gained 1.8% at Rs 2,658.

Reliance Communications and Maruti have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 759 and Rs 1,135, respectively.

Cipla has plunged over 4% to Rs 188. Dr.Reddy's has slipped 2.4% to Rs 615.

ITC and HDFC are down over 1% each to Rs 182 and Rs 2,513, respectively.

Out of 2,689 stocks traded so far, 1,703 have advanced, 918 have declined and 68 are unchanged
