Upmove continues; Sensex surges 245pts

The Sensex continues to move to higher levels, and is now up 245 points at 11,906.

Bharti Airtel and Maruti have rallied 3.5% each to Rs 438 and Rs 954, respectively. Dr.Reddy's has moved up 3.3% to Rs 735.

Larsen & Toubro, Satyam and SBI have added 3% each to Rs 2,532, Rs 808 and Rs 961, respectively.

HLL has gained nearly 3% at Rs 236. ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Reliance Energy, NTPC and Bajaj Auto are up over 2.5% each at Rs 621, Rs 876, Rs 472, Rs 127 and Rs 2,775, respectively.

Out of 2,492 stocks traded so far, 1,770 have advanced, 662 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
