Gujarat NRE Coke has zoomed nearly 30% after the company announced its plans to issue bonus shares.
The scrip today opened at Rs 69 and soared to a high of Rs 71. The stock is now trading at Rs 70, up 4% from the previous close. The counter has clocked volume of 2.02 million shares on the BSE.
The stock has gained for the last eight trading sessions after the company announced its plans to consider a bonus issue on September 7, 2009. The board is scheduled to meet on September to consider the above proposal.
