The prices of urad dal and gram dal declined, while moong dal moved up, rest all other commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad and gram dal went down by Rs 200 and Rs 50 per quintal each to Rs 6,500 and Rs 2,900 from the previous rate of Rs 6,700 and Rs 2,950 respectively.
However, moong dal rose by Rs 100 to Rs 5,900 from Rs 5,800.
Thoor dal, sugar, wheat, maida and sooji traded at the previous rates.
Following are today's rates (per quintal):
Thoor dal Rs 6,200, Urad dal Rs 6,500, Moong dal Rs 5,900, Gram dal Rs 2,900, Sugar Rs 2,700, Wheat Rs 1,900, Maida (90 kg) Rs 1,750 and sooji (90 kgs) Rs 1900.
