Urad and its dal prices continued to fall for the second straight day due to slack demand and lost up to Rs 200 per quintal.
Marketmen said sluggish demand at existing higher levels against sufficient stocks mainly led to a fall in urad and its dal prices.
Urad and its dal best quality fell by Rs 100 and Rs 200 to Rs 5,600-6,150, Rs 6,700-7,000, while dhoya traded lower by Rs 200 to Rs 6,800-6,900 per quintal.
Other pulses, however, remained unchanged in the absence of worthwhile activity.
