Urad, its dal up in thin trade

Barring a rise in urad and its dal prices on retailers demand, other commodities held steady at the wholesale pulses market here today.

Traders said some demand from retailers mainly led to a rise in urad and its dal prices.

In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,050-4,450 and Rs 4,950-5,350, while urad dal best and dhoya traded higher by the same to Rs 5,450-5,950 and Rs 5,500-5,600 per quintal.
