Across-the-board selling by traders concerned about a possible US-Iraq war pulled the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensex down for the second straight day today.
The sensex ended with a loss of 22.05 points at 3,256.08, off the intra-day low of 3,239.02.
Meanwhile, at the broader National Stock Exchange, the S&P CNX Nifty index shed 7.40 points to end at 1,047.40. Brokers said the sentiment remained bearish ahead of US secretary of state Colin Powell
