US markets ended on a higher note for the second consecutive session on Tuesday as falling crude oil prices boosted the sentiment. While the Dow Jones advanced 37 points to 10,458, the Nasdaq added eight points to finish at 1,999.

Indian ADRs, however, failed to exhibit gains and largely ended with losses. Tata Motors dropped 4.15% to $9.25. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, VSNL and MTNL all ended with marginal losses. Dr. Reddy's, however, ended in the green at $17.41.

While Infosys and Wipro finished marginally higher at $73.90 and $21, respectively, Satyam slipped 1.12% to $23.83.
