US indices end flat, Wipro gains 3%

Major US indices barely changed from their previous week's surge on Monday. While the Dow Jones added six points to 10,467, the Nasdaq gained four points to 2,076.

Indian ADRs displayed a mixed trend yesterday. Wipro jumped 3% to $21.60, and Infosys gained 1.21% to $72.02. Satyam, however, slipped a per cent to $25.

ICICI Bank advanced 2.64% to $21, while HDFC Bank and VSNL ended with steady gains at $42.16 and $9.78, respectively. MTNL, however, dropped 2.26% to $6.50. Dr. Reddy's and Tata Motors also ended lower at $16.53 and $10.10, respectively.
