US indices end mixed

US indices ended on a mixed note. While the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 14 points to 2,063 largely due to investors booking profits at the Intel counter, the Dow Jones, however, added 10 points to 10,513 following strong gains in GM.

Indian ADRs largely succumbed to losses on Friday. Infosys, Satyam and Wipro all ended lower at $71.45, $24.60 and $21.54, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Tata Motors and MTNL, too, reported weak trends to close at $21.73, $9.64 and $6.77, respectively. HDFC Bank, Dr. Reddy's and VSNL, however, gained marginally to finish at $44.56, $16.26 and $10.25, respectively.
