US indices end weak

Rise in oil prices and lacklustre trading in blue chip stocks saw the US indices end on a weak note. While Dow Jones ended off-lows at 10,829 (down 25 points), the Nasdaq ended flat at 2,177.

Indian floats, too, largely finished at lower levels. Infosys, Wipro and Satyam ended marginally lower at $70.19, $25.15 and $24.47, respectively.

ICICI Bank and VSNL also ended at weaker levels at $20.30 and $10.43, respectively. While HDFC Bank added 1.15% to $44.71, Dr. Reddy's closed up a tad at $19.56.
