Disappointing Q2 numbers from Citigroup triggered the US markets fall on Monday. While the Dow Jones slumped 66 points to 10,575, the Nasdaq lost 12 points to 2,145.

Indian ADRs, however, largely fared better yesterday. Infosys, Satyam and Wipro advanced in a range of 2-3%. HDFC Bank, Tata Motors, VSNL and MTNL also ended higher with steady gains, while ICICI Bank and Dr. Reddy's edged lower.
