The US markets continued their poor run. The Dow ended at 10868, weaker by 58 points or 0.5%, Nasdaq ended at 2402, lower by 21 points or 0.9% and S&P shut shop at 1165, down seven points or 0.6%.
Patni Computers ended at $25, higher by $1.4 or 5.9% and ICICI Bank ended at $40, higher by $1.1 or 2.9%.
Wipro ended at $21, weaker by $0.4 or 1.9%, Tata Motors ended at $19, lower by $0.3 or 1.7% and Tata Communication ended at $11, down $0.2 or 1.7%.
