US markets ended on a flat note on Tuesday amid mixed news flow. On one hand there were fresh worries about banks needing more stimulus and the impact of swine flu on the US economy. On the other hand however,  big divident boost from IBM and signs of improving economy lifted sentiments.

The Dow was down eight points (0.10 per cent) to 8,017. The Nasdaq declined six points (0.33 per cent) to 1,674.

Indian ADRs dropped in the US markets.

Sterlite plunged 6% to $7.64. Satyam tumbled 4% to $1.77.

ICICI Bank slipped 2% to $18.1. Dr.Reddy's declined 1.5% to $10.9.

Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, MTNL and Wipro slipped over 1% each to $7.3, $73.82, $2.87 and $9.09, respectively.

Meanwhile, Tata Communications, Patni Computers and Genpact were almost flat at $22.01, $7.34 and $8.86, respectively.
