US markets end higher

The US markets ended in the green for the second consecutive session. The Dow ended at 10997, stronger by 70 points or 0.6%, Nasdaq closed at 2454, higher by 17 points or 0.7% and S&P shut shop at 1194, up seven points or 0.6%.

The Indian ADRs ended largely in the positive. Tata MOtors ended at $19, higher by $0.6 or 3.2%, HDFC Bank closed at $147, higher by $3.3 or 2.3% and ICICI Bank shut shop at $45, up $0.9 or 2.1%.

Dr Reddy's shed $0.6 or 2.2% to end at $28.
