US markets dropped on Tuesday. The Nasdaq shed 30 points (1.3%) to 2,282. The S&P 500 slipped 11 points (1%) to 1,136. The Dow was down 37 points at 10,627.
Indian ADRs were also in the red. HDFC Bank and MTNL slumped 5% each to $128.12 and $3.57, respectively. Sterlite plunged 4.5% to $18.73.
ICICI Bank shed 4% at $36.15. Tata Motors was down 2% at $16.98. Patni Computers, Genpact and Dr Reddy's were also down.
On the other hand, IT stocks jumped. Wipro surged 5.6% to $23.43. Infosys, following Q3 results, gained 5% at $57.65. Satyam Computers added 1% to $5.51.
