US markets ended in red.
The Dow closed at 10068, weaker by 376 points or 3.6%, Nasdaq ended at 2204, lower by 94 points or 4.1% and S&P shut shop at 1072, down 43 points or 3.9%.
The Indian ADRs ended in the red across the board. Sterlite ended at $13, weaker by $0.64 or 4.6%, Dr Reddy's ended at $27, lower by $1.03 or 3.68% and Patni closed at $27, down $0.97 or 3.52%.
ICICI Bank ended at $35, weaker by $1.45 or 4% and HDFC Bank ended at $133, down $6.1 or 4.4%.
