The US markets edged lower in overnight trades. The Dow ended at 10066, lower by 126 points or 1.2%, Nasdaq ended at 2213, lower by 15 points or 0.6% and S&P ended at 1073, down 14 points or 1.2%.
The Indian ADRs ended mixed. Patni Computers ended at $27, higher by $0.5 or 1.8% and Satyam ended at $5, up 1.4%.
On the other hand, ICICI Bank ended at $35, weaker by $0.9 or 2.6%, HDFC Bank ended at $133, lower by $2.9 or 2.1% and Sterlite ended at $13, down $0.2 or 1.6%.
