The US markets ended on a weak note.
The Dow Jones closed at 10,285, weaker by 104 points or 1%, Nasdaq shut at 2,172, lower by 16 points or 0.76% and S&P ended at 1,091, down 11 points or 1%.
The Indian ADRs ended largely in the red. Satyam ended at $4.73, lower by $0.12 or 2.47%, Tata Communication closed at $15.21, down $0.32 or 2.06%, Patni ended at $19.63, down $0.40 or 2% and Sterlite ended at $18.18, down $0.13 or 0.71%.
Among the exceptions, Infosys closed up $0.11 or 0.21% at $51.76 and ICICI Bank shut at $36.80, higher by $0.12 or 0.33%.
