The US markets ended in the negative. The Dow closed at 10389.88, weaker by 213 points or 2%, Nasdaq ended at 2265, lower by 25 points or 1.1% and the Nasdaq shut at 1116, down 21 points or 1.8%.
The Indian ADRs ended weak. ICICI Bank closed at $35.87, weaker by $1.7 or 4.6% and HDFC Bank ended at $130.38, lower by $6 or 4.4%.
Sterlite ended at $17.4, weaker by $0.7 or 3.9%, Sterlite closed at $5.6, lower by $0.2 or 3.7% and Tata Communication ended at $14.68, down $0.5 or 3.6%.
