Wall Street stocks fell on Friday to round out the worst week in three months as worries about high oil prices hammered energy-sensitive sectors and left investors on edge about inflation at the onset of a holiday weekend.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 146 points at 12,479 and the Nasdaq declined 19 points to 2,444.

Indian ADRs too ended on a weak note. Dr Reddy's was up 2.8% and Genpact advanced 1.3%.

Sterlite Industries declined 3.7% and ICICI Bank lost 3.6%. Satyam was down 3.4%. Infosys and Wipro were down 2.5%. Tata Motors was down 1.4% while Tata Communications and HDFC Bank lost 1.3%.
