Late buying propped up the US market yesterday, after US issued warning to China on the currency front. As a result, the Dow Jones soared 80 points to 1,0332, while the Nasdaq added 10 points to 2,004.

Indian ADRs, however, failed to join the late rally and ended with losses. While Satam and Wipro slipped a per cent each to $22.28 and $18.78, respectively, Infosys closed with a per cent gain at $63.40.

Tata Motors dropped nearly 4% to $9.90. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, VSNL and MTNL, too, displayed weak trends. Dr. Reddy's, however, gained a per cent to $15.70.
