A surge in crude oil prices weighed on the US market sentiment as all major indices ended lower yesterday. While Dow Jones lost 18 points to 10,812, the Nasdaq ended four points lower at 2,067.

Indian ADRs, too, largely finished weak. While Infosys and Wipro slipped a per cent each to $75.10 and $21.30 respectively, Satyam ended marginally higher at $23.55.

ICICI Bank dropped 2.36% to $21.97, and HDFC Bank shed nearly 2% to $46.10. While Dr. Reddy's also ended weak at $17.40, Tata Motors, VSNL and MTNL notched up marginal gains to close at $10.66, $9.80 and $6.75, respectively.
