US mkts slip, ICICI Bank drops 5%

US markets slumped on Tuesday amid rising crude oil prices and a weak outlook from Texas Instruments. While the Dow Jones dropped 24 points to 10,913, the Nasdaq lost 17 points to close at 2,073.

Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. MTNL moved up 2% to $7.19. HDFC Bank, Dr. Reddy's and VSNL ended with marginal gains at $49.45, $17.31 and $9.95, respectively. ICICI Bank, however, slumped 4.87% to $20.88, and Tata Motors slipped marginally to close at $10.95.

Tech ADRs were weak yesterday, with Infosys and Wipro closing down a per cent each at $76.58 and $22, respectively. Satyam, however, ended unchanged at $23.95.
