The Unit Trust of India (UTI) registered a loss of Rs 419.01 crore on account of sales/redemptions of investments for the six months ended December 2002.
Of the 66 schemes under UTI, 43 registered a trading loss on account of sales/redemption, according to information published by the fund house.
However, 18 schemes managed to earn a profit. UTI
