Va Tech Wabag has opened 3% higher at Rs 450 after the company said that it has received an order worth of Rs 270 crore from Reliance Industries (RIL) for industrial effluent treatment plant.
“RIL has chosen Va Tech Wabag for construction of a 32.4 MLD effluent treatment plant with recycle facility for their proposed PTA and PET Dahej manufacturing plant, Gujarat and tertiary treatment plant for Reliance Hazria Complex for an order value aggregating to Rs 270 crore,” a leading global player in water and waste water management said in a filing.
The effluent treatment plant and recycle facility at Dahej is expected to be executed within a period of 21 months, it added.
