Vakrangee Softwares is trading higher by 3% at Rs 45.40 after the company said its promoter has acquired over two million shares of the company via open market transaction.
“Vakrangee Holdings Private Limited has bought 2.41 million shares of the company on September 11, through open market purchase,” the mid-cap IT Company said in a filing.
With this acquisition, the total holding of Vakrangee Holdings Private Limited increased to 19.45% from 18.97% earlier, the data shows.
The stock opened at Rs 45.15 and hit a record high of Rs 45.45 on the NSE. A combined 406,115 shares have changed hands on the counter till early noon deals on both the exchanges.
